On January 29, Senator Collins once again voted in support of the Keystone XL pipeline. This is in complete contradiction to the suggestion that she is environmentally friendly and is working to confront climate change.

Please sign this petition if you have asked Senator Collins to vote no on the Keystone XL pipeline in the past - or if you feel that she should have.

On February 20, citizens from across the state (including 350 Maine and other environmental groups) plan to attend "A conversation with Senator Susan Collins about the health and economic impacts of climate change in Maine" (currently sold out; currently showing a Wait List option at the RSVP site); we're certainly curious as to what she has to say.

Through this petition and attendance at the event  we plan on sharing with her how many Mainers are disappointed that she voted with Big Oil instead of the citizens she allegedly represents in Washington, D.C.

We hope to engage in a thoughtful dialogue with Senator Collins  and as our representative, hope that she is receptive, available and willing to adjust her position with respect to that conversation.
