Details: | We've all heard the tragic stories of people and property devastated by extreme weather events and global climate change. Less publicized are the significant impacts of climate change on wildlife and wildlife habitat. Barbara Charry, a wildlife biologist at Maine Audubon, has been studying wildlife movement patterns in Maine for many years. She will share her findings, and discuss Maine Audubon’s current work related to wildlife and climate change. Please join us to learn which animals are most at risk, and how all Maine citizens can help to minimize the loss of native species and wildlife habitat due to climate change. Co-sponsored by 350 Bangor & Maine Audubon. |
