A discussion on environmental activism both on and off campus. Speakers from a wide range of backgrounds will share their experiences, thoughts, and techniques before the panel is opened for questions. Guests include: Gail Carlson, a professor of environmental activism and health care advocate; Casey Ballin, founder of Colby Alliance for Renewable Energy and student activist; Kurt Nelson, the Dean of Religious and Spiritual Life at Colby College who has committed an act of nonviolent civil disobedience; and Heidi Brugger, co-founder of 350 Maine, an organization recognized for the strides it has made in environmental movements and its student-inclusive nature.
